Periodically I get email from folks asking if they can donate financially to the project.

Examulator and Exam Advantage were not started to make money. They were, in part, a way for me to give back to the community in a way I knew how and in a way I thought would be useful. Both of these projects were started because of a perceived need I saw -- in the case of Examulator, the lack of an affordable sample exam test program which didn't require you to make a purchase only to find out it didn't resemble anything like the actual exam; and in the case of Exam Advantage, generating study material for the lessor-known exams which did not have the market penetration to warrant someone writing a book and making big bucks selling it on Amazon.

My family comes from a long-line of ancestors who dedicated themselves to public service, all the way back to Stephen Hopkins, who served as a Govenor's Assistant for the Plymouth Colony through 1636 (okay, he wasn't a saint, he was fined for permitting drinking at his Tavern on the Sabbeth... but who doesn't need a nip every now and then, eh?) My wife's family, similar, with ancestors who served General George Washington during the American Revolution.

If you found the resources on this web site useful and would like to make a contribution, rather than donating money to me (and then I'd have to claim it on my taxes, probably have the IRS audit me, charge me with forgetting to declare $10 in interest on some bank account I forgot I had in 1997, go to prison and have to worry about dropping the soap in the shower, etc.) I'd rather you pay it forward to a local charity in your town. The town food bank, public library, animal shelter -- all good local charities who help people (and animals!) in need. Inasmuch as I appreciate the sentiment, the truth is my family and I are already well off (I mean, I'm not Elon Musk or anything, but we live a comfortable life), and we do not need the money. We would rather see it go to people (or animals!) who do need help.
